To replace with an empty string, use either empty pattern (insert "()" after the
patter delimiter and use "$1" as the replacement string) or use non existant
pattern (e.g. "$99").
The meaning of the fields in matching table are: "#" for number of full pattern.
"S" for number of sub pattern. "P" for position in orginal subject.
If the matched string is not empty string, click on the position to get the string
highlighted from the original subject.

Regular Expressions (regex/regexp) are very handly and powerful tool for making smart
replacements for data. This tool tries to ease the use of those pretty tricky expressions.
